v1.3.0 2026-07-26

Launching you can trust

Bringing your clients forward now works every time, Roster tells you when something else is interfering with your launches, and activating your subscription no longer fails at the worst possible moment.

  • NewRoster spots other launchers. If Bloxstrap or similar owns Roblox links on this PC, it sits in front of every launch - which can expire login tickets partway through a bulk launch and apply its settings to clients you started from Roster.
  • NewStart the Roblox client directly. Skips whatever handles Roblox links on this PC. Off by default, because it also bypasses Bloxstrap and its mods.
  • NewLive previews of every running client. A floating grid on the Multi-launch tab. Click a preview to bring that client forward, Ctrl+click to minimize it. Tiles flag an account that has dropped out of its game or whose cookie has died, and the grid can be unpinned, parked on a screen edge, or faded to see the clients underneath.
  • NewName each client's window after its account. Every Roblox window is called Roblox, so the taskbar, Alt-Tab and OBS can't tell them apart. Off by default. Fullscreen clients can't be renamed.
  • NewA pending Roblox update is flagged before a bulk launch. Starting a client can trigger an upgrade that closes every client already running.
  • NewA rebuilt title bar. Running clients show as capsules along it, tinted by health - click one to bring that client forward. The window buttons are Windows' own now, so hovering maximise opens Snap Layouts.
  • ChangedOne-click activation. The link in your activation email opens Roster and activates it - no code to copy, nothing to mistype.
  • ChangedMulti-instance problems explain themselves. When something else is holding Roblox's single-instance lock, Roster names it and says what to do instead of silently opening one window.
  • ChangedRemoving a layout, group or hotkey asks first. There was no way back from a mis-click.
  • ChangedVisual polish throughout. Settings pages are one consistent width and searchable, Charts shows game thumbnails instead of text cards, game artwork is no longer cropped square, and the account list takes status filters and the keyboard.
  • FixedActivation could fail moments after paying. A new code takes a few seconds to reach every server. Roster now waits and retries instead of saying the code wasn't recognised.
  • FixedBring all to front. Renamed from Focus all, and now reliable. Clients on another virtual desktop, or that have stopped responding, are reported instead of quietly skipped.
  • FixedBrowsing several games in a row could fail. Roster now paces its own requests to Roblox and waits out a rate limit instead of reporting it as an error.
  • FixedSettings could quietly reset themselves. If Roster could not read its settings file it started from defaults and wrote over the original, taking your main account, game library, hotkeys and layouts with it. The unreadable file is now kept aside instead.
  • FixedThe frame rate cap box cut off its number. On the Multi-launch tab. The cap itself was always correct - only the digits were clipped.
v1.2.3 2026-07-26

Hotfix

One visual fix on top of 1.2.2.

  • FixedSettings dropdowns showed gibberish. The close-button setting displayed its internal value instead of the option you picked. The hotkey account picker also listed accounts by their Roblox name while showing your alias once selected.
v1.2.2 2026-07-25

Performance and polish

Background Roblox clients keep their speed, Roster is lighter when idle, and every screen got a consistency pass - plus it now tells you what changed after it updates itself.

  • NewWhat's new after an update. Roster updates itself quietly, so it now shows what changed the next time you open it. Changes that alter how it behaves are called out, with a link straight to the setting. The version in the sidebar - or Ctrl+K - reopens it any time.
  • NewChangelog and issue links in Settings › About and the update banner.
  • NewAccount cards show when a client is being eased off.
  • NewClosing asks what you meant. Close Roster, or send it to the tray and keep refresh, hotkeys and performance management running. Tick the box to stop it asking.
  • NewCap an account's frame rate. Hold any account between 5 and 240 FPS so background alts stop rendering flat out. Set it on the account, or across everything listed from Multi-launch. Uses Roblox's own frame-rate setting and puts yours back afterwards.
  • NewFrozen clients say so. A client that stops responding is called out on its card, so you can tell a stalled client apart from a stalled Roster.
  • NewA word before you overload the machine. Bulk launches mention it when you are asking for more clients than your memory comfortably holds. Advice only - the launch still goes ahead.
  • ChangedVisual polish. Consistent button sizes, alignment, spacing and text rendering across the app, and buttons now respond when pressed.
  • ChangedAccount cards fill the window. They stretch and add columns to fit, with a proper Launch button on each.
  • ChangedHome is ready when you open it. It loads in the background instead of when you arrive.
  • ChangedEmpty screens say what's going on instead of showing a blank panel.
  • ChangedMulti-launch decluttered. The precise-grid panel is half its old height.
  • ChangedKeyboard. Esc closes dialogs, Enter confirms - though prompts that delete something default to Cancel - tabbing shows a focus ring, and collapsible sections open from the keyboard.
  • ChangedPrivate servers, inline. Settings › Private servers shows the vault itself instead of a button that opened it.
  • ChangedAppearance shows which theme is active.
  • ChangedPerformance management is off by default. Balanced eases off only minimized clients, and only while the CPU is busy.
  • ChangedLower idle CPU use. Roster no longer scans every process on the machine twice a second.
  • ChangedWindows are left where Roblox puts them by default. Auto-arranging is now something you turn on from the Multi-launch tab. Overlapping windows are also easier on your machine than a tight grid, because a client you can't see stops drawing itself.
  • ChangedMinimizing minimizes. It used to hide Roster in the tray, taskbar button and all.
  • ChangedWindow sizes below Roblox's 800x600 minimum are off by default. Roster has to stop the client resizing itself to go smaller, and that makes clients stutter. Turning it on now warns you once and explains the alternatives. Existing installs are moved off it on update.
  • ChangedFewer precise-grid options. Borderless, no gaps, restore borders and keep re-applying are gone - each cost more than it gave back.
  • ChangedArrangements fit on one row. The custom-layout tools moved into their own section, shown only when Custom is picked.
  • ChangedHidden clients give up memory first. Windows now pages out the clients you are not looking at, rather than the one you are. Can be turned off.
  • ChangedBulk edit covers more. Frame-rate cap and resource throttling can be set across a selection.
  • ChangedRemoved the Passes box from Multi-launch. It stopped doing anything in 1.2.1.
  • FixedAvatars. Instant, offline, no more falling back to initials, and they refresh when you change yours.
  • FixedText getting cut off in account names, chart descriptions and window-arrangement options.
  • FixedFriends showing no name.
  • Fixed"Offline" appearing twice on idle account cards.
  • FixedDialogs hiding their own error messages.
  • FixedCollapsible sections had no label. Recent activity, and several in Settings, showed a bare arrow with nothing next to it.
  • Fixed"Open third-party licenses" did nothing.
  • FixedBackground clients no longer slow down. A window you can still see is never eased off, however many you have open.
  • FixedClients are no longer left slowed after Roster closes. Anything still running is handed back to Windows when Roster exits or crashes, along with any frame-rate cap, and repaired on the next start if it was killed outright.
  • FixedTurning throttling off for an account applies immediately. It used to need a relaunch, and left the client slowed anyway.
  • FixedArranged windows no longer land off the screen. With enough clients open, the right-hand column and the bottom row ran past the edge of the display. Everything now fits, overlapping where it has to.
  • Fixed"Focus all" now works on minimized windows. It never brought them back, so any client you hadn't clicked into was skipped.
  • FixedFullscreen clients respond to Roster again. A client with no title bar was invisible to Focus all, arranging, window resets and performance management, which all skipped it silently.
  • FixedArranging no longer stalls the clients it is arranging. Each window is moved once instead of up to eight times, and Roster no longer waits on a busy client to finish.
  • FixedRoster no longer changes your windows' title bars. It used to strip the frame off to fit smaller sizes, and left it that way for the rest of the session.
  • FixedThe last client of a batch sometimes never appeared in Multi-launch. A launch is now matched to a window that is still running a moment later, so a short-lived one can't take its place.
  • FixedArranging no longer steals focus while you are using a client. Applying a saved layout used to hand the foreground to whichever window it restored last.
  • Fixed"Launch on selected accounts" said "account" when nothing was selected yet.
  • FixedProcess IDs no longer cut off on Multi-launch cards.
  • FixedLaunch stagger stays where you set it. A 5-second stagger was quietly reset to 10 every time Roster started.
  • Fixed"Reset windows" does something again. It brings back the resize border on clients that lost it.
v1.2.1 2026-07-25

Private servers, simpler launching, and a fresh look

A fast follow to 1.2.0: browser-launched games behave again, private servers get a proper home in-app, launching is simpler, and the whole app gets a lighter, cleaner look.

  • NewPrivate servers on every game. A game's page now has a Private servers tab - see the game's servers, spot the ones you own, and join or allow your selected accounts on them. Roblox only lets the owner's friends into a private server, so when an account can't join yet Roster offers to friend it to the owner and allow it in one go (with a captcha step if Roblox asks). It can also generate a share link for a server that has none.
  • NewModern share links. Roster now understands the newer roblox.com/share?code=… private-server links, not just the old format, and resolves them to the right server on launch.
  • NewFocus all. A one-click button in Multi-launch brings every running Roblox window to the front (un-minimizing any that were tucked away) - the inverse of Minimize all.
  • NewPer-window volume. Set each account's Roblox volume from its detail panel or in bulk, or drop every open window to one level in a click. Applies live to running windows.
  • NewGraphics quality. Settings › Launching sets Roblox's graphics quality (Automatic or 1-10). It's machine-wide, like Roblox's own setting, and takes effect on your next launch.
  • ChangedFaster startup. On launch, account cards now fill in within seconds instead of trickling in over minutes - the first health checks run at the same pace as the "Heartbeat all" button. Ongoing checks keep their normal, spread-out cadence.
  • ChangedGapless by default, and snappier. The precise, gapless grid is now the default window arrangement, and the arranger no longer keeps re-nudging windows for seconds after launch - so big batches don't lag the machine.
  • ChangedLess text, again. Another pass trimming on-screen descriptions, tooltips and settings copy.
  • ChangedOne-tap launching. The play button now sends your selected accounts straight to the Roblox home page - no pop-up. To drop into a specific game or private server, launch it from the Home tab; window arrangement now lives on the Multi-launch tab. A first-run tip points the way.
  • ChangedVisual refresh. A cleaner look across the app - a consistent set of hand-drawn vector icons in place of the old symbols, lighter and more even typography, and tidier account cards.
  • FixedWeb-view launches. Launching a game from the in-app web view no longer closes your other Roblox windows, and those launches now appear in Multi-launch.
  • FixedNo more phantom "Launch failed". A private-server launch could show a failure toast even though it actually launched. Gone.
  • FixedThe last window gets arranged too. The most-recently-opened window is sometimes still initialising when the layout is applied; Roster now re-applies a moment later so it lands in its slot with the rest.
  • FixedSharper text. Text in dialogs and dropdown menus was rendering slightly soft; it's crisp everywhere now.
v1.2.0 2026-07-24

The feature wave

A broad update across launching, windows, profiles and reliability. Auto-update handles the upgrade.

  • NewPrecise window grid. Exact per-window sizes and gaps, sizing below Roblox's 800×600 floor, and true gapless tiling that cancels each window's invisible border - alongside 2×2, stripe and picture-in-picture.
  • NewBulk display name & About. Set display names and About text across selected accounts at once - each validated first, with {username}/{random} tokens to avoid look-alike moderation flags.
  • NewLaunch to home. Open an account straight to the Roblox home screen without joining a game - for avatars, trading, or a quick check.
  • NewAutomatic captcha handling. Roblox challenges during refresh are solved through a hidden browser instead of stalling the account.
  • NewCopy account fields. Copy an account's id, cookie and more straight from its detail drawer.
  • NewTunable refresh. Control how often and how hard Roster checks cookies (concurrency, interval, stagger); it honours Roblox's rate limits and slows down instead of failing.
  • ChangedCleaner navigation. Home, Games and Browse consolidated, plus hardier Roblox API handling under rate limits.
  • FixedMulti-instance. Launching a second account no longer closes the first.
  • FixedAccount detail drawer. Opening an account's details no longer crashes or hangs, and names and avatars refresh themselves when you rename on Roblox.
v1.1.0 2026-07-12

The power-user update

The biggest release since launch. Roster gains an in-app web portal, a guided move between PCs, a command palette, launch profiles and tray mode - plus live performance and cookie-health readouts on every card, and important licensing fixes for existing subscribers. Everything below is on the Free tier except where marked; auto-update handles the upgrade.

  • NewWeb portal. The web button on any card - or "Open on web" in the command palette - opens a Roblox web session already signed in as that account. Each account's session is isolated, and any cookie Roblox rotates while you browse is captured straight back into the vault.
  • NewMove to another PC. Settings › Vault exports your accounts as one encrypted transfer file; import it on a new machine and they reappear - aliases and all - re-sealed under the new PC's encryption, no restart needed.
  • NewCommand palette. Ctrl+K to fuzzy-search every screen, group, profile and "open on web" action, entirely from the keyboard.
  • NewLaunch profiles. Turn any bulk launch into a one-click profile - save it, name it, and relaunch it from a dashboard chip or from the tray.
  • NewMinimize to tray. Optionally tuck Roster into the notification area while the refresh loop keeps running. Left-click to restore; right-click for a themed menu with a live status line, a Launch-profile submenu, and Exit.
  • NewImport wizard. Paste a batch of cookies in any common format - Roster verifies each one, skips duplicates, reports the junk, and adds the rest to your dashboard.
  • NewWebhook notifications. Point Roster at a webhook URL to get pinged the moment an account's cookie dies - once, not on a loop. Includes a Test button.
  • NewPerformance monitor. Running instances show live CPU and memory on their cards, refreshed every couple of seconds.
  • NewCookie freshness flags. Every card labels how fresh its cookie is; dead or stale (over 24h) accounts are tinted so problems stand out at a glance.
  • NewAutomatic vault backups. A rolling snapshot is taken on each launch (and on demand); the newest ten are kept, with one-click access to the backups folder.
  • NewWeekly playtime digest. Insights gains a "This week" breakdown of playtime by account and by game.
  • NewCSV export (Plus). Export your roster to CSV, with a built-in guard against spreadsheet formula injection.
  • Newroster:// links. Trigger Roster from Stream Deck, AutoHotkey or a shortcut: activate a licence, or launch a group or profile by name. The window raises whether Roster was already running or cold-started.
  • NewRecover your code in-app. Settings › Licence now links straight to activation-code recovery - for when you're moving PCs or have misplaced your code.
  • ChangedLess wall of text. A first pass at trimming the app's on-screen copy - descriptions, tooltips and settings blurbs are shorter and plainer. More pruning is on the way.
  • FixedActive subscribers no longer drop to Free. A licence-refresh bug could silently downgrade a paid, online account to Free after a few days, with a misleading "reconnect to the internet" message. Fixed end to end, and the status wording is clearer now.
  • FixedSteadier offline behaviour. Paid features keep working through a bounded offline window - about four days for a subscription - with a heads-up before it lapses.
  • FixedSettings that stick. Minimize-to-tray, webhook, and main-account choices now persist across restarts. The paid tier is shown as "Plus" throughout, alongside a batch of smaller UI and stability fixes.
